Interested if you have any other self-affirmation exercises as well.

For the exercise above:

- do you recommend writing and refection on more than 1 value?

- does it seem like there are some elements missing from the list (e.g. other hobby skills like chess ... Or would that fall into the artistic skills bucket). Or even anything relating to wealth and personal finance.

Great question! I see the above protocol more as an quick exercise / intervention - like a taking a cool shower on a hot day - to ward off negative effects.

I think it’s worth doing a more extensive values writing exercise which can take several hours over multiple sessions.

I would look up “core values worksheet/exercise” for a longer list and it’s worth doing a follow up to name / customize the value so it’s personally meaningful. Like instead of just saying you value “adventure” your value might be “take the leap” or “say yes”
